Five journalists were killed in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza in an Israeli airstrike early Thursday, Palestinian doctors said.
Al-Quds Today television channel, which is affiliated with the Islamic Jihad militant group, said in a statement that a broadcast truck was hit and five of its employees were killed in the attack.
The channel said the group were killed “while performing their journalistic and humanitarian duties.”
The Israeli military said its forces attacked a vehicle loaded with Islamic Jihad militants in the Nusirat area.
